Chinese r12a.github.io/pickers/hani/ & Japanese r12a.github.io/pickers/jpan/ char apps now have option to create ruby markup. Video shows it in action. The magic that turns the highlighted romaji into kanji is the § key. (Normally i'd also use ` and ~ to switch between type-assist modes.)
