Scam call today from someone pretending to be @bt_uk. They asked me to go to validator.w3.org/ and type in my email to the address bar. @w3cdevs Any chance of adding a URL validation? that would kill this scam immediately.

Thanks for letting us know Gary - we've heard about that scam attempt before, tried some mitigations but never quite managed to understand how they proceed. Can you follow up at dom@w3.org to help us figure that out?
