🌐 In an effort to enhance #accessibility, the EPUB Accessibility specification has been updated and it has become an integral part of the #EPUB standard. This aligns with the #EUAccessibilityAct, shaping the future of Digital Publishing

EPUB 3.3 maintains backward compatibility with EPUB 3.2. No need to make changes to your current publication workflows when moving from 3.2 to 3.3. #EPUB3
📘 EPUB 3.3 is a distribution and interchange format for digital publications and documents. It enables the representation, packaging, and encoding of structured and semantically enhanced web content, including #HTML, #CSS, #SVG, and more, in a single-file container
It looks like such a small thing, but EPUB 3.3 is published as a W3C recommendation! This is the culmination of 3+ years of very hard work by the publishing community and it’s so exciting to see the fruits of our labour!
Note that two recommendations are not yet included in the list of working drafts: RDF 1.2 Semantics and SPARQL 1.2 Entailment Regimes. However, don't worry! They will follow soon, ensuring a comprehensive and up-to-date suite of specifications
RDF-star has gained in popularity and several implementations already support it, with variations in adoption. The RDF-star WG, building upon the work of the RDF-dev CG, aims to make RDF-star fully interoperable by integrating it into RDF 1.2 and SPARQL 1.2 #DataIntegration
