Does this mean we should just quit testing for Parsing even if you're legally required to meet WCAG 2.0 or 2.1? #a11y #WCAG

We also added notes to WCAG 2.0 and WCAG 2.1. That's updated in the WCAG 2 FAQ: w3.org/WAI/standards-guideli…

So basically we can ignore the Parsing requirement even if you only do WCAG 2.0 or 2.1 right? I can just forget that Parsing even exists as it would always Pass and never Fail? Any #WCAG bugs for parsing can just be deleted now or ignored right?

The wording that's now in updated WCAG 2.1 and WCAG 2.0 Errata is: "This Success Criterion should be considered as always satisfied for any content using HTML or XML."

Got it! :) Thanks! To me that reads that Parsing can be ignored and forgotten about now because it always passes HTML in all WCAG 2.x versions, even old ones. I know lots of folks will be happy to never have to worry about it again ;)
