Hey @w3c_wai team at @w3c! 👋 The policy info on w3.org/WAI/policies/netherla… (and other countries) is in urgent need of an update. Coming from an official / trusted source, it causes confusion on which WCAG standard governments should follow. /cc @Logius_minbzk @accessibilitybe

Yes, it needs updating. Thankfully we recently got resources to update it. That should happen later this year. I added an additional note to the top of the first page to help people know that it’s not the latest info now. ~Shawn

Oh, that’s great, thank you! 🙏 Do you think it would be possible to add the “Dated” note to the specific language pages as well? I’m afraid that many people googling for language specific policy information, end up on those pages and won’t look at the overview page.

Agree some will end up on specific page, not overview. Date was already there, e.g., "Last Updated: 4 April 2017 – Added Netherlands accessibility laws and policies." It's just not as clearly highlighted. Will consider for next update. Thanks.

That is 4 months ago. Outdated information is still up and it confuses everybody. This harms the adoption of web accessibility standards in EU member states.

Also, Belgium (my home country) isn't even listed! 😧 I want to help to add that page. Who should I get in touch with at W3C? I can even help with validation by gov officials if required.
