@isostandards & @w3c_wai - is there an ISO/IEC standard in development referring to WCAG 2.1 or even WCAG 2.2? As far as I understood ISO/IEC 45001:2018 still refers to WCAG 2.0 or am I wrong?

Correct, ISO/IEC 40500:2012 is WCAG 2.0.
WCAG 2.1 is adopted in EN 301 549 “Accessibility requirements for ICT products and services”.
ISO of WCAG 2.1 or 2.2 not planned any time soon.
