This example really helps emphasize the key feature at the core of sqlite-utils: the ability to automatically create a new database table with the right schema, given a list of Python dictionaries (or a JSON list of objects)
Best illustrated with an example: this one-liner uses feedparser to parse my blog's atom feed into a table!

I didn’t fall for this particular case, but for plenty of others. Possibly related:
Hacker News comments cause the Gell-Mann Amnesia Effect for me. Whenever it’s a topic im familiar with most of the comments are condescendingly arrogant and wrong.
Yet when I know nothing about the topic I assume I’m getting high quality knowledge from experts.
