Turns out the reason I’ve started to get so annoyed by reading Twitter is almost exclusively US news & politics. Shocking, I know. At least I can escape by stopping to read my timeline. I can’t begin to imagine how constantly pissed off I’d be if I actually lived there.

Well, actually. That’s quite different, as it very directly affects us and we can do something about it. I’m completely fine with that. (Well, I’m not at all, but you know what I mean.)

As a person living here, I can assure you, it's incredibly maddening. But then there are bright spots like the students at MSD.

Depends a bit on where you live and how much news you watch or read. Here in the California bubble it seems as far away (or close) as from Europe, with everyone angry and eyerolling all the time.
