Training and consulting usually don’t exclude the rest. But when you’re not CERTIFIED you’re considered to be NOT QUALIFIED.

True, that’s one of the potentially really bad outcomes of this particular business model. The others can lead to similarly bad things, too, IMO

I don't have an issue with the concept of certification per se. Some certification is literally life-saving. I do take issue with the idea you can become "certified" in anything as complex as modern software delivery after spending two days in a classroom.
