I’m wondering: Have people who voted for Brexit changed their mind by now? Or do they view the current situation as a success?

Across the population, few have changed their minds. Slight move away from leave, but it’s only very slight. However, a large majority don’t think Brexit is going to end well. That both of these statements are true pretty much sums up the mess we’re in.

So to leavers who now think it’s not going to end well, accepting a bad outcome is preferable to having to accept they were wrong and change their mind? Figures.

That’s exactly it. The badness is also offset, dramatically for some, by the warm and fuzzy feeling of sovereignty.
