I’m wondering: Have people who voted for Brexit changed their mind by now? Or do they view the current situation as a success?

Across the population, few have changed their minds. Slight move away from leave, but it’s only very slight. However, a large majority don’t think Brexit is going to end well. That both of these statements are true pretty much sums up the mess we’re in.

So to leavers who now think it’s not going to end well, accepting a bad outcome is preferable to having to accept they were wrong and change their mind? Figures.

That's not how human psychology works. Evidence never overcomes our irrational beliefs. Just look at religion, global warming, ...

I see confirmation bias: those against Brexit view the mess as confirmation leaving is a mistake, those pro it see confirmation the EU is malign and best avoided.
