I'd like to know: what is the path to redemption for former abusers and harassers? Reputations will never recover, but damning and ostracizing people for the rest of their lives isn't justice either. What's the process?

If I commit theft, it's reasonable for department stores to be suspicious of me, but if I demonstrate trustworthiness over time, some of that suspicion should be allayed.

We simply don’t have the necessary 30 years of experience to make those judgments yet, as 30 years ago no one gave a fuck about any of this behavior in the first place
