Why – when trying to build a distributed system – is the first idea to put a centralized, shared broker in the middle of all of it? #jaxcon

Because you’re in the business of selling centralized, shared brokers? Or because building such a thing yourself is way more fun than a boring application?

Or, more charitably, because you’ve never worked in a system without a giant centralized thing (The other two are also sadly too common)
