Missing the "Not using a VPN but considering anything without a cable as being wiretapped" option. Never trust L2. Improve usage of HTTPS.

I run my own VPN on my raspberryPi at home and always connect to that one when I‘m in a public WiFi or I connect to my Company VPN.
