Both Ethereum and bitcoin have forking. @Hyperledger Fabric, does not.

forking is a function of the means by which consensus achieved, not public or private

It’s also the means by which all relevant public chains do it. Not sure comparing a private one is fair.

permissioned not necessarily == private though most will be, true. However, for enterprise, lack of finality & forking an important concern
