We should have a conference track involving terrible programming examples. I have done some awful, awful things in my career

I failed this way, it seemed to work for a bit, and then Kaboom! Often I see conf talks & then hear about the failure when the person leaves

I'd contribute to this track. I've had some spectacular failures. When I entered this industry, I actually had hair!

I've heard of a fail session, not seen it. I tried at three different events to bring in a halfday session of fail but they wouldn't take it

Call it Lessons Learned or War Stories, and this track works. We've done such tracks at QCon for both security and dist sys :-).
