One of the nicest, kindest & most educated ppl I know, was accused of mansplaining just because he had a different opinion than his oponent.

How would/do you deal with something like that on his side? He became very confused and quiet (as I said: kind and nice!).

I thought "I merely have another opinion than you have. How is that mansplaining?" is a good idea, though I don't know the other person.

Whether justified or not, there is no way to continue the conversation after that, IMO. Best to walk away from it.

Yea, probably. The other is noone to discuss with I guess. It was a business meeting. Maybe the manager should have intervened.
