DNC had obviously piss-poor security, and the only evidence for a Russian government hack is claims by notoriously untrustworthy US intel

further, many are forgetting (memory hole) that the initial claims that Russia was source were frm reputable security firm, not CIA

Can you point me to something that resembles actual evidence? Some that you'd accept if HRC had won and the GOP claimed the Russians helped?
