yeah I'm a little concerned with Dropbox. I'm encrypt sensitive info before placing it on there, but still. Looking for alternative

@cczona yes, and iCloud Drive for the files. Even nicer in macOS Sierra

I don't know iCloud but @ownCloud works great on windows and android. And you can selfhost the server. @hhariri @stilkov

you mean for selfhosting? There are many hosts available. Both free and paid. I use @OwnDrive for example
