Business interests are more and more important for a company like #Lightbend (ex #typesafe). What a marketing speech lightbend.com/company/news/t…

@stilkov @fakod why do you think it's fundamentally different from e.g. Spring Cloud / Boot? This is just marketing IMHO.
2
@ewolff @stilkov That’s what I meant, there is no difference
1
@fakod I am trying to say it is not the product @stilkov is afraid of (or he should be afraid of Spring Cloud / Netflix ..., too)
1
@ewolff @fakod Did I misunderstand Spring Boot? I thought it was intended to build a single service, not as a runtime platform like ConductR
4
@stilkov @fakod it's not ConductR but a new product. Looks like framework + some kind of runtime environment - different from Boot but close
2
@ewolff It's a Microservices framework running on the Reactive Platform (Akka, Play, ConductR etc.) All integrated. @stilkov @fakod

Replying to @jboner
@jboner @ewolff @fakod e.g. can I decide to build a service in OCaml, Haskell or Visual Basic?
