Folks, I do know AWS has had a datacenter in Germany for a while. The difference (for now) is that Microsoft’s is not under US jurisdiction.

@ottopoellath @stilkov unless T-System is running the entire datacenter and only licenses the software from MS… I don't know.

@tisba @ottopoellath We’ll see how they do it, but my guess is they’ll make sure MS employees simply can’t comply with US requests for data.
