What are the chances that VW is the only automaker that cheated during emission testing? 0.1%?

@stilkov IMHO the more interesting question is: What happens to VW if they've been indeed the only ones cheating?

@joschi83 @stilkov they aren't. It's common knowledge that cars try to detect whether it's actually moving & if not switch engine params!

@goldstift @stilkov I'd argue that there's a difference between optimizing emissions during a complete standstill and an emission test.

@joschi83 @stilkov I was told by an internal that cars of his employer have build-in logic to detect such test scenarios! And it wasn’t VW!
