Why are promoted tweets wasting my mobile bandwidth with videos? What can I do about it?

@ewolff Use a different client? On iOS, I’m happy with Tweetbot. Don’t know about Android.

@ewolff Weird. I don’t even see promoted tweets if I use Twitter’s web app (I just tried, don’t usually use it.)
