@headius For many people interested in diversity/feminism topics, the usage of the term “meritocracy” flips the bozo bit.

@stilkov Indeed, and that's what I'm trying to understand. It seems that a few (or many) bad apples are being used as "proof".

@headius The reasoning is that claims of being a meritocracy are often used to justify biases. I don’t think there’s more to it than that.
