Gasoline ~9 kWh/L, one large fuel station > 150.000L tank capacity, i.e. > 1 GWh. Electric vehicles' ceiling is the grid, and it's low.

@clemensv So it doesn’t seem like an exceptionally smart idea to waste 80% of the remaining gas in ICEs (if they’re at 20% effectiveness)
