Context: You build your system as a collection of small, independent systems, each with its own UI, data, and logic. What do you call them?

@therobertrieger Sure, I currently use “system”. That works, of course, but it’s too generic for my taste.

@nothing_box I agree with you technically. Most people would be confused, though.
@dierken Yes, that’s what the 12factor.net people use, too. Very generic, though.

@jerrypreissler I’ve used that (as you know), but that makes each part a “system”, which is supremely generic (and thus meaningless).
