What is the best 11" or 12" inch laptop for running Linux? Needs i7, 8+ G RAM, +128 G SSD, HD screen, good battery life & low weight.

. @Kane_rogers I run Linux on my MBA 11" (from 2011) already. Works great but I want a better screen and better battery life.

@jboner FWIW, the new(er) MBAs’ battery life is much, much better.

@stilkov Ok. Perhaps worth trying that then. Mine from 2011 has around 1.5 - 2 h. Can't wait for the MBA with Retina.

@jboner Had the same effect. My 2013 model (11") gets between 4-8h, depending on how I use it. 13" should be better.
