Am I being naïve in assuming the manipulating of your timeline is one of the major differences between Facebook and Twitter?

@stilkov people don't join to have their timeline curated by an algorithm, but they stick because an algorithm does that.

@stilkov I don't like FB either, but it's not like other sites are any better; they all A/B test our actions and reactions

@stilkov but I don’t care enough to rationalize it. Don’t owe FB or anyone else explanation for how I feel. Not that they care.
