I can’t imagine when it would ever be OK for an app to tweet without the user’s explicit consent. Really stupid, @unfollowerstat.

@ewolff I think Twitter doesn’t offer appropriate granularity, i.e. you might want to do some things and get that permission, too.

@ewolff 1) I don’t think apps can ask for the read followers right without asking for the tweet right, too. And I can’t approve selectively.

@stilkov They can. However, almost all Apps ask for the right to tweet, too. :(

@ewolff Then that sucks even more. Even so, Twitter should just offer the option to selectively disable this.
