I wonder: Are there well-known, profitable Open Source companies? I’m not talking about billion dollar acquisitions, but operating profits.

@stilkov MongoDB is profitable I think. Maybe eben Basho?

@stilkov Basho hat 5.5m USD revenue in 2012. probably made it already or a close. not sure

@_lennart Don’t they have more than 100 employees? I doubt they can be profitable (nor would they probably want to be)
