I wonder: Are there well-known, profitable Open Source companies? I’m not talking about billion dollar acquisitions, but operating profits.

@stilkov I think it is mostly a combination of OSS stack and consultancy aka prof. support. @itemis, @camundaBPM are examples of the model.
