I am somewhat confused as to my own motives, but I’m finding it very hard to come to terms with the idea that everything should be SSL.

@oakinger It just feels wrong to me to encrypt information that’s supposed to be as widely available as possible. Think of e.g. Wikipedia.

@stilkov @oakinger ssl also adds some kind of signature to the content. That might be a valid reason for also use it with Wikipedia.

@stilkov ssl doesn't secure the content, it secures the transport - which includes your personal information like cookies, source ip etc
