Maybe a modern Java 8/Nashorn/JS, REST/ROCA web framework would make the language tolerable again

@ewolff I often recommend it, but it feels a bit dated. Plus, it depends on Spring :-)

@myfear Took a brief look, seemed to be the kind of web framework built by people who don’t like the web. I do, so concluded it’s not for me

@mwessendorf I wasn’t aware it sports a view layer, form handling, an asset pipeline etc.
