Real question: Is there any object relational mapper out there deserving the predicate "good"? I'm willing to choose the language by ORM :-)

@tillsc LINQ definitely does. I would assume Slick does, too, but it maybe immature. Ask one of our Scala folks. Or, just use Korma :-)
