@stilkov if you take JSP and add EJB you essentially get the PHP request/response concurrency model.

@assaf Provided it’s stateless EJBs you’re using, yes. Not exactly the same roundtrip experience, though :-)

@stilkov isolate concurrent requests and you eliminate nasty bugs + scale easily. J2EE needed machinery for what comes naturally to PHP

@stilkov @assaf The strengths called out are valid (and a good reminder), but not exclusive to PHP. I'm playing with Play 2.2 and liking it.

@stilkov conceptually the two won we off Java: Always Be Adding Complexity, and that every solution was optimized for vendors.
