@stilkov sure: privacy is not protected in the EU, for example. The spooks happily hoover up whatever they want without worrying about laws

@adean It's very much protected by law, at least in Germany. Much much more than in the US. We've always found US privacy laws laughable.

@adean So maybe we're just arguing semantics. Privacy is "protected" by law (to a degree), with laws being worth what they usually are.
