@stilkov sure: privacy is not protected in the EU, for example. The spooks happily hoover up whatever they want without worrying about laws

@adean It's very much protected by law, at least in Germany. Much much more than in the US. We've always found US privacy laws laughable.

@stilkov so we are agreed :-) all I am saying is that I suspect many thought (incorrectly) that the US had a higher standard
