@jessitron Why would an *actual* meritocracy ever be or have been an antipattern? Isn't this what we all strive for?

@stilkov @jessitron I'd suspect that you'd need to be able to find an objective measure of "merit" first, which could be problematic.

@crstry @jessitron Sure, but that's typical for any set of useful community guidelines. Still, making clear what's valued seems right to me.
