@dankurka Well, you know, the idea of hiding (almost) all of that Web stuff in the first place. I don't expect you to agree :-)

@stilkov its not about hiding, its about getting 20-50% more performance if you need it.

@stilkov it`s about what you want to do on the web. If you want content with enhancement choices are different. If you want an app => GWT

@stilkov browsers are evolving to be more than thin clients. Client frameworks use this. Nothing wrong with that just another use case.
