It's stupid to conclude anything about an architect's skills because they do or do not call themselves "architects".

Architecture - like so many other metaphors (mis)used in SW - doesn't exist. Therefore, neither do Architects.

@TheSandyWalsh There is a wealth of knowledge about software architecture and architects. Don't see what's gained by dropping the term.
