@ewolff Best one can do in Java, I guess. But why bother? Better to go with a real functional JVM language instead IMO

@ewolff I know. There's still no rational argument for wanting to adopt functional programming, but not a functional language

@svenefftinge I know you're pitching a different language (and I wish you luck). I prefer the Java + Clojure or Java + JRuby combination
