Java thought leaders, are Servlets dead? If I’m teaching how to write HTTP handlers in Java, should I teach Servlets or something else? I assumed Servlets but now I’m wondering….

Nobody writes to the Servlet API directly anymore, but I think they’re an entirely valid choice for teaching
