Off to Brighton for #ffconf, my first web conference since the pandemic! I'll keep tweets to this thread, so mute it if you don't care 馃榾 I'm "backup speaker", but I think I'm happy just watching, so I've decided against poisoning one of the actual speakers.

Y'know what, I love single track conferences. I don't want to have to choose, it's the job of the organiser to pick good talks, in a good order. And at the pub afterwards, it's easier to have discussions, since everyone saw the same stuff.

As a speaker, I don鈥檛 either (the more the better), but as an attendee interested in the topic, I prefer the coziness of smaller events, especially if attendees and speakers mix
