Discussing with my sister how she too hates Teams, I think part of the problem with Teams chat is that a big part of work chat is for shitposting, backchannel griping, and otherwise casual communication. You can't be afraid of posting to the wrong place, it kills the vibe!

I'm just obsessed with how bad the product is and how casually it is forced on so many of us because "no one ever got fired for choosing Microsoft."
