Going back to a single screen setup but with an ultra wide monitor was the perfect decision for me… I love it.

I got an EIZO EV3895. Reasons: - Proper USB-C power and proper USB 3 hub - Hardware split-screen - Built-In KVM - Previous (positive) experience with that brand I'm a big user of (kinda) tiling window manager Moom on macOS… That works great in this case.

In general: Compared to what Apple offers with their studio display, most other displays are a bargain.

It’s not Apple though. I eyed one of the LGs but I was a bit sceptic about one specific that does only work via USB-C.
