It seems to take an extra one or two seconds before things are marked as read, which leads to me having to reopen every channel again

Hmm ! Is this on desktop or mobile? If it's on desktop, is it in the app or a web browser?

Thanks for that. What version are you running? To check, open Slack and tap You > Preferences. The version details are at the very end of the menu. Do you experience this over mobile/cellular connections, or wifi, or both?

Steps to collect logs: 1. Open the **You** tab, then tap **Preferences > Send Feedback**. This will create a report with app logs attached, addressed to our support team. 2. No need to describe the issue again, but please mention this Tweet in the report so we can link the 1/2
