The big difference between Facebook & Twitter is that it’s a lot easier to create filter bubbles on Twitter. You choose who to follow based on content so your TL aligns with your politics. On FB you can’t avoid other views because you see your family & coworkers political posts.

There are completely bonkers (to me) political views that get tens to hundreds of thousands of likes on Twitter every day that I don’t see. My TL is mostly tech & left leaning with a few exceptions. On Facebook I see more diversity of politics from family & coworkers and hate it
