The GDPR which is currently interpreted as storing & processing EU user data in the U.S. violates EU citizen’s privacy because you can’t trust the U.S. government had no such restrictions on storing or processing in Russia. Quite ironic for a privacy law.
The Norwegian DPA has recommended companies transferring personal information from Norway to Russia and Ukraine reconsider the legal basis for such transfers. Here's the announcement: datatilsynet.no/aktuelt/aktu…
