I don't think I understand Wordle's "hard mode". Why *wouldn't* you use revealed hints in subsequent guesses?

If you can’t think of a word that includes those hints, you can just try a random word with five unused letters

I will have to try more puzzles to see how often it beats making an educated guess of an actual word. Depends on whether hints narrow the word space as quickly as random words narrow the letter space.
