Some thoughts on the “Case Against Crypto” Claim: The technology does not solve a real problem. Thoughts: It’s been 13 years of blockchains and what we’ve mostly seen are new forms of speculative assets (NFTs, ICOs) or ways to avoid government regulation (DAOs & tokens).

I agree the use cases are still not convincing after all this time, but his assessment the tech doesn’t work and it’s all just a scam is still unjustified imo

No question it’s massively overhyped and applied to problems it’s clearly unsuited for, of course

It doesn’t work in the sense that it’s not fit for purpose. These purposes. Eventually someone will find a legit use for it. But, the more it’s hyped now as a cryptocurrency scam, the less likely people are to believe that legit useful case when it arrives.
